A NOTE FROM CANDICE

I’m thrilled to share a bit about my background with you. I’m a qualified physiotherapist, passionate about Pelvic and Sexual Health. I completed my physiotherapy degree from the University of Cape Town and have since delved deeper into pelvic health through various international courses. These courses covered a wide range of topics, from pelvic health concerns across different life stages to addressing dysfunction.

Additionally, I’ve completed a course in trauma counseling and am currently pursuing a masters (MSc) focusing on Genito-pelvic pain and penetration disorders (GPPPD). My education has equipped me with a broad understanding relevant to the diverse lives we lead, which I believe enhances my ability to provide holistic care to my patients.

Exciting news – I’ve recently joined the healthcare community in the Cayman Islands to offer pelvic and sexual health physiotherapy services. Before that, I ran a private practice specializing in pelvic health in Ballito, South Africa. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to engage with both local and international communities through avenues like public speaking, podcasts, course creation, lecturing, and collaborations with businesses and charitable organizations. My goal has always been to empower individuals through education and increase access to information and care for pelvic health concerns.

I’m truly passionate about what I do and am excited to continue making a positive impact on people’s lives. If you have any questions or want to learn more, feel free to reach out!
